The details • Location: Portlaoise Shopping Centre, Co. Laois • Contract: Permanent, part-time • Hours: 21–26 hours per week • Availability: Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends is essential • Start date: Immediate availability welcome, but not essential Who are we? Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead the team, drive sales and make sure every customer enjoys a great experience. • Lead by example: Motivate and support the team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets. • Drive store performance: Help maximise sales, manage costs and keep an eye on store results. • Create a great shopping experience: Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation and store cleanliness. • Support your team: Assist with training, coaching and developing team members. • Keep things running smoothly: Support staff rotas, daily operations, cash handling and stock management. • Put customers first: Handle customer queries professionally and help resolve issues. • Work together: Build a positive team environment where everyone contributes to the store's success. What are we looking for? • At least one year's experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally in fashion, home or gift retail. • A passion for customer service and delivering great shopping experiences. • Strong communication and people skills, with the confidence to lead by example. • A positive, proactive approach and a keen eye for detail. • A team player who enjoys taking responsibility and getting things done. • Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends.
