BoyleSports is hiring a Customer Service Assistant for its shop in Westside Shopping Centre, Galway. You report to the Shop Manager. Duties - Give customers a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service - Take bets and pay out winnings accurately, at the counter, through the EPOS system and on betting terminals - Help the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with the day-to-day running of the shop - Open and close the shop, and look after cash procedures - Step up and run the shop when the managers are not there (with chances to progress) - Keep the shop well presented and follow safety, compliance and social responsibility rules - Introduce customers to the company's in-shop and online products Requirements - Customer-service focused, honest and reliable - Good with numbers and cash handling, with attention to detail - Flexible - the business runs 7 days a week - Interest in sport and confident chatting with customers - Retail or betting experience welcome but not essential; full training provided Type: Full-time (per listing).
