Security Officer - Waterford

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security Officer based at one of our corporate clients in Waterford. Position: Full Time - Temporary Contract 6 Months with possibility of Permanent contract. Hours: 40hrs per week, Days/Nights/Weekends Rate of Pay: €15.41 p/h & €20 night allowance, €3.44 Sunday premium per hour. We require Officers to be PSA licenced. The Security Officer role is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service. Key Duties - Act as an ambassador for the company - Follow on site security requirements including access control and CCTV - Report any security events in the onsite log - Access control - Visitors first point of contact - Deal with emergency situations, supporting emergency services as required - Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format - Liaise with Bidvest Noonan Management regarding any security issues or problems - Customer Care experience - Oversee building open up/lock up procedure and mobile patrols - Car park and traffic management Required Skills/Abilities: - Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures - Ability to work with confidential and classified information - 5-year verifiable history - Valid Visa to work in Ireland on a full-time basis - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language - Customer/Client focused - Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations - Basic computer literacy required - Excellent attention to detail with the ability to respond to issues in an effective, efficient and calm manner About Us ‘For nearly 50 years, we’ve played a vital role in helping our customers succeed.
