Staff Grade Occupational Therapist St John Of God Dublin South East Location: On site / 111 Upper Glenageary Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, Ireland Job type: Permanent / Full-time Annual Salary range: €45,514 - €65,068 per annum Saint John of God Community Services Dublin Southeast provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to adults with intellectual disabilities in South Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an established multidisciplinary team to support our service users to live meaningful lives. The successful candidate will provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention across day and residential settings, promoting independence, participation, wellbeing and quality of life, while contributing to service development and collaborative multidisciplinary team working. Candidates must have: · A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy. · Experience of working with adults with an intellectual disability. · Be innovative, resourceful, flexible and have excellent communication, interpersonal, administrative and co-ordination skills. · Experience in assessment and intervention in Independence Skills · Experience sensory processing intervention and mental health wellbeing. · Experience in postural management assessment and intervention. · Experience working as an occupational therapist in Mental Health and have an interest in Mental Health and intellectual Disability. · Experience working as part of a clinical team advantageous. · A full clean manual driver’s license (please state clearly on application). Desirable Experience: • One year’s experience working as an occupational therapist.
