ICE Group is recruiting an Equipment Maintenance (Mechanical) Technician for a highly automated manufacturing client in Galway, working 12-hour shifts. Duties - Find and fix electronic and mechanical equipment faults - Carry out planned preventative maintenance - Install, set up, move and refurbish manufacturing equipment - Record downtime and repairs, and work with production and engineering on improvements - Hand over clearly between shifts and help train operators Requirements - 2-4 years as a technician in high-volume automated manufacturing - Certificate, diploma or senior trade qualification in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering (or similar) - PLC, motor drive, pneumatic or hydraulic experience is an advantage Type: Permanent; 12-hour shifts on a compressed schedule with extended time off.
