Are you person-focused, empathetic, compassionate, and good at working on a team? We have a vacancy in Children’s Respite. Contract: Permanent Part time SCW (19.5 hours) (day/waking night rota) Candidates should possess the following: · Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or equivalent for SCW posts. · A proven track record in the delivery of Person-Centred systems, services and supports and awareness of Positive Behaviour Supports. · Experience of working with children who have an intellectual disability, minimum 1 year desirable. · Experience of a residential or respite setting is desirable. · Be innovative, resourceful, flexible. · Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work both in a busy team environment and independently. · Ability to support and facilitate independent living skills and community integration. · Must have a full manual driving licence. · Must have Coru Registration. Salary Scale – €41,260 - €57,789 per annum pro rata Location The location of this role is Dublin South East. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS’s other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable. A panel may be formed from this competition from which current and future, permanent, fixed term and specified purpose vacancies may be filled over the next 12 months.
