RHS Home Care, a home care provider operating since 1996, is recruiting Care Assistants in Galway city and county. You would visit older and vulnerable people in their own homes and help them live safely and independently. Duties - Help clients with daily living, including personal care such as bathing and dressing - Light housekeeping, including changing bed linen and laundry - Keep clients safe and look out for their wellbeing - Offer company and support social contact to reduce loneliness Requirements - QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, or an equivalent qualification - Reliable, trustworthy and caring, with good communication skills - Two references - Must currently live in Ireland and be eligible to work here Type: Flexible hours to suit your availability. Paid 8-hour shadowing period to start, plus training and on-call support.
