BoyleSports Ardee is hiring a Customer Service Assistant (Retail, reporting to the Shop Manager). You'll give customers an outstanding experience with a helpful, friendly, knowledgeable approach, help the team run the shop smoothly, and accept and pay out bets. **Key responsibilities** - Help the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with the day-to-day running of the shop - Step up when managers are absent: opening and closing, guiding the team, cash procedures (with chances to manage on occasion and develop further) - Accept and process bets accurately through betting terminals and the EPOS system - Act as a brand ambassador and introduce customers to digital and in-shop products - Keep shop presentation to a high standard and follow all safety, compliance and operating procedures - Carry out social responsibility duties **What you need** - Customer-service focus, trust and integrity - Flexibility: the business runs 7 days a week - Attention to detail and strong numeracy; good cash handling - An enthusiastic people person with initiative who works well in a team - An interest in sport and confidence building rapport with customers - Organised, reliable and keen to progress Retail or industry experience is welcome but not essential; full training on sport and betting is provided.
