Security - Security Officer

Ballinasloe, Co. Galway We are looking for a Security Officer to join us onsite with our client, you'll be someone who prides themselves in providing professional security services. What the day to day looks like Comfortable working in a busy hospital environment, with the ability to engage professionally and empathetically with patients, families, and children. - To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for - Day to day running of building Ensure a high standard of customer service and support is maintained throughout reception and public areas, assisting patients, visitors, and staff while coordinating with relevant hospital departments to ensure a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment. - Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, actions, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required - Ensure that the telephone is answered in a timely and professional manner and transferred to the appropriate personnel or message are taken - To maintain close working relationships with the relevant staff, building management team, and to coordinate efforts - To control car parking and ensure visitors use allocated correct parking bays Skills & Experience required - Do you have previous experience in a similar role would be preferred? - Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills? - Are you Customer/Client focused? - Do you have basic computer literacy required? - Do you have excellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner?
