Our client, a start-up company in Foxrock is seeking an Accountant to join their team. Ideally, candidates will either have experience in the construction or property industry
Responsibilities:
Detailed reporting of company profit, monitoring income and expenditure for profit, working closely with the Contracts Manager to achieve base quotations.
Authorisation of payments
Reporting of explanation of P&L variances Vs budget
Ensure the financial statements of the company comply with the company law and applicable accounting standards.
Prepare and monitor weekly/monthly cash flow.
Prepare monthly financial accounts with detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
Produce management information as and when required.
Responsible for effective credit control procedures.
Responsible for all revenue returns
Working closing with Tax Advisers
Managing accounts admin personal
Preparing project proposals
Other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Accountant
Experience in the construction or property industry advantageous
Commercially orientated, with good project management skills
Computer literate – Microsoft office – high-level skills in excel essential.
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour.
Hardworking and flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail and great accuracy.
A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative in a busy, results-driven environment.
