MASTERTECH ENGINEERING ARE LOOKING TO HIRE AN EXPERIENCED MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN TO JOIN OUR TEAM. PLEASE SEE JOB SPECIFICATION BELOW AND HOW TO APPLY.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN ROLE:

Job Summary

Electrical fault finding & repair

Efficient in electrical testing

Periodic Inspections reports

Emergency light testing & repairs

Thermographic testing (not essential)

PAT Testing (not essential)

Heating system installation, fault finding & repairs

BMS field wiring & control connections

Requirements / Skills

Time served Electrician with QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent.

High-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an industrial & commercial environment.

Ability to work on own initiative & have pride in their work.

Experience in an industrial/commercial environment

Understand and be proficient in information systems, e.g. Email, Microsoft Office, etc for PPM reports

Demonstrate detailed understanding of H&S statutory requirements, responsibilities and obligations.

3 year + Experience in similar role

Qualified Certifier (QC) Certificate holder essential

  • Maintenance / Electrician: 3 years (Required)

Job Duties:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
  • Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
  • Provide professional assessments and advice for customers
  • Review maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
  • Other duties as requested

  • Managing peers, dividing job tasks and/or working as a team when necessary
  • Ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported
