Job Description

Implementation Project Manager (ERP) 24-month contract

Reporting to the Programme Director / Head of Project Management Office (PMO) for a superb international business across Ireland and the UK undergoing a major ERP Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, a major transformation project spanning a multi-year rollout. The focus of the implementation will be finance and supply chain / distribution.


In this role you will

design, deliver, monitor and control key areas of the project management methodology (Surestep, Microsoft LCS)
consolidated reporting to the leadership team
establish “best practices” in the areas of project and high-quality delivery in conjunction with the PMO and Governance
be an active member of the project team, supporting colleagues and peers to help achieve the ERP group’s overall goals
track project risks/issues and work according to Project Management Office Guidelines
build trusted relationships with business stakeholders
create new projects and support tools (using MS Suite) as well as providing support to the project team with these tools as needed, critical data collection and analysis
project budget management tracking & reporting.


Will be PMP Certified with experience implementing an ERP in a Manufacturing / distribution / supply chain / food / agri-business environment. They are implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 but experience with any major ERP will be fine
Communications: English totally fluent, ability to produce clear status reports (clear writing and verbal skills), communicate tactfully and candidly, simplify jargon, effective RAID management.
Information Management: Manage project documentation (technical and management) and data (or information) requirements.
Negotiation: Ability to undertake continual adjustments with stakeholders in a persuasive manner, to keep the project on course by use of positive win/win negotiations.
Problem Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to analyse and define a problem, evaluate alternatives, find a solution, understand how and when to make a choice.
Resource Management: Ability to identify and make optimal use of resources.
Relationship Management: Ability to consult and provide advice; to facilitate discussion and resolve conflict; to develop relationships with key project stakeholders; to establish trust, credibility, and respect.
Project Controls and Process Management: PMP preferred, PMBOK, MS project and experience with management tools & techniques to schedule, plan, track and correct project performance

€65-75K salary, Bonus and Pension 5%
