At The Pavilion, we wish to appoint an Interiors Designer & Sales Specialist to join our expanding Interiors department at our showroom in Ballygarvan.
The successful candidate will have a natural flair and possess a genuine interest and experience in the interiors industry.
Strong interiors knowledge and strong customer focused selling skills.
The successful candidate will have the ability to build genuine relationships with customers and suppliers.
The role will involve creating and executing weekly objectives that will contribute to the overall success of the Brand.
You will play a vital role in:
Developing existing relationships with suppliers and customers
Generating new product ideas
You will report to our Operations Manager.
There are 3 main areas of responsibility;
Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends
Monitor stock and assist buying to match customer preferences and trends
Forge, maximize and maintain relationships with suppliers
Be commercially aware of the environment
Merchandising and Sales:
Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations
Liaise with the Operations Manager in order to maintain displays to highest standard, making the most effective use of POS
Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
Analyze sales reports and space usage to ensure maximising sales
Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear out etc
Maximising sales by driving sales and service through excellent product placement in-store
Ensure brand image is consistent throughout the store
Liaise with Social Media and Operations Manager to ensure the high standard of the brand is being mirrored from instore through to our social media platforms
Plan and execute store revamps with minimum disruption to the customer
Proven experience in the interiors industry with strong selling skills
Highly creative, with experience in identifying new product ideas
Commercial mind-set and appropriate product knowledge
Problem solving skills and good decision making skills
Up to date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build good relationships with customers, management, the team and suppliers
Confident with strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
Passionate about bringing the brand to the next level
A genuine interest in Luxury Interiors Industry
You will also be required to be flexible and assist in other departments as necessary.
