Working on site at a South Dublin based hospital on M&E capital projects, the M&E coordinator will assist the Construction Project Manager.
Manage Document and Drawing library for client
Coordination of Building Services within an operational healthcare environment
Some experience of using AutoCAD 2D and BIM2 would be an advantage
Ability to co-ordinate avoidance of M+E services i.e. Clash Detection with contractors.
Organize and Co-Ordinate constructability reviews + workshops with the Construction Team on behalf of the Client.
Manage technical submittals and schedules on behalf of the client.
Ensure management of construction quality to agreed standards by ongoing Client quality review inspections.
Work with the Project Manager to co-ordinate design teams, contractors on behalf of the client
Co-ordinate Construction Team and other stakeholders as required to ensure a smooth handover of the completed works to the Client. This will involve witnessing final and other commissioning procedures.
This role will suit someone who is ambitious and accustomed to taking on responsibility and has experience liaising with various disciplines and contractors on site.
Qualification in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
8+ years proven experience as an M&E Co-ordinator or Building Services Coordinator
Previous experience on healthcare projects is desirable
Excellent communication, presentation and people management skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Project
6-12 month contract role €40-€45p/h
