· Supply Chain Services provides both pre-wholesale and wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical, healthcare and animal health products to pharmacies, hospitals and veterinary surgeons in Ireland. The business supports a diverse customer base through the provision of strong service levels coupled with innovative commercial initiatives. In addition, the business provides services and supports that help independent community pharmacy to compete more effectively in an increasingly difficult environment and runs a network of Uniphar-owned pharmacies under the Life and Allcare brands.

· Our Product Access Services businesses support healthcare professionals and their patients to access unlicensed or otherwise difficult to procure medicines. Within the division we now concentrate on two specific business areas: On Demand Access and Exclusive Access. Uniphar, through the PharmaSource, has had a lot of success in this area, thanks to our strong pharmacy relationships and our ability to access two million pharmaceutical products through 100 global suppliers.

· Our Commercial & Clinical division provide outsourced services, specifically sales, marketing and multichannel account management to pharmaco-medical manufacturers, and distribution and support services to medical device manufacturers. Uniphar offer a fully integrated multi-channel account management solution that is supported through market data, insights and digital programmes. We integrate these programmes with our supply chain and distribution capability to provide a full end to end service to manufacturers.

The three trading divisions work in synergy to allow us to support our healthcare professional and manufacturer customers to provide their patients and communities with the medicines and care that they need.

Objective

The role of IT PMO support analyst will be to work with the IT Program team supporting the day to day applications and processes covered by the PMO team. The focus of the role will be to provide front line support for IT ticket triage, SAP authorisations and IT PO administration. The role will also involve project delivery tasks to provide support to the PMO team and wider IT group on project delivery.

He/she will also create and maintain two-way communication with business user teams and IT resources to ensure on time and complete delivery of tasks for both application and project support.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business & Application support – Provide frontline IT support to the business on specific applications and functions. Work as part of a team managing IT application ticket triage, application support and SAP user roles / Authorization management.
  • Project Support – Work in a team collaborating on different aspects of a large project, ensuring that the objectives of all components are aligned, and that delivered solution will work as an end to end process. Provide link between business and development teams during projects. Project support, project tracking & unit testing.
  • Report on Projects – prepare and deliver statistics on related projects: status, due date, next steps, etc.
  • Support Cross functional testing – work with IT and project teams to define, plan, execute and record end-to-end functional tests to validate new configuration, developments and/or data to support new business models, software upgrades or interfaces..
  • Support Quality Processes – execute test cases and document the results in line with the business quality guidelines, working with the wider community to ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance to computer system validation guidelines.
  • Quality - Comply with company's Global IT Policies & Procedures

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ideally have an IT or Engineering related qualification
  • Ideally have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar support role
  • Have a natural aptitude to learn new technologies and develop skills
  • Experience of working in a validated environment an advantage

Technical:

  • Experience of working with SAP an advantage
  • Experience of working with WMS environments an advantage
