We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Engineer to join our team and play a significant role in projects for one of our multinational blue-chip clients based in Kildare.
The successful candidate will be a smart, enthusiastic individual who is able to clearly demonstrate their technical knowledge. Your responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to –
Working as part of the Services Delivery team within the Automation\IT departments.
Part of a team who design, build, qualify\test and maintain a multitude of manufacturing\lab systems.
Involved in the roll-out of various management tools to enhance visibility of the organisation’s infrastructure (physical & virtual).
Participate in cross-functional teams.
Responsible for implementing/supporting/troubleshooting Microsoft technologies.
Generate documentation to support the successful deployment and handover of new IT system installations.
Ensure systems and practices are consistent throughout by following industry standards (Knowledge of cGMP).
Responsible for monitoring the activities of system applications and hosts.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining servers, network devices, interface performance and spot the errors and service failures.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Technical role, coupled with a Degree in IT, Science or Engineering.
Certified in relevant disciplines is highly desirable (i.e. Microsoft, Cisco).
Must have demonstrated experience in System Build or IT administration.
Experience with Active Directory infrastructure, administration and management required.
Experience with SQL Server administration and management is desirable.
Experience with Hyper-V\VMWare required.
Good understanding of networking (VLAN, Switches, Firewalls, NAT) is advantageous.
Experience working in a regulated environment such as Pharma, Medical Device or Food industry is a distinct advantage.
Must hold a full valid work permit.
