ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT CareerWise Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Assistant for a maternity contract to be an integral part of the Finance team for our Clare based client. Your Main focus will be Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and other Month-end duties as directed by the Financial Accounting Manager.
Role of this position
Process weekly payroll accurately & efficiently, liaising closely with HR.
Responsible for monthly & annual returns
Prepare and enter monthly Journals.
Responsible for AP and AR.
Responsible for bank transfers and daily bank recs
Month end Reporting Procedures - accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and analysis of balance sheet accounts
Performs a variety of other AD hoc tasks, as required.
Part qualified accountant or other recognised accountancy qualification desirable.
Previous experience in a multinational is desirable but not essential.
Proven experience as a payroll administrator is desirable.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Quantum pay & Hyperion experience a distinct advantage.
