Job Description

Head Baker position available, large Restaurant in Cork City region introducing a new food concept, experienced "hands on" Baker required for this role with loads on enthusiasm and ideas....

The ideal candidate will demonstrate

  • Previous food preparation and production experience is required in Hotel or Restaurant
  • Qualified baker is a distinct advantage, 3+ years experience needed
  • Produce daily range of Breads, pastries, scones, desserts, confectionery etc
  • Creative and able to embrace new recipes, develop new product lines
  • Excellent motivation, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to engage with and prioritise Guests and customer needs
  • Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Implement weekly stocktaking and daily waste controls
  • Adhere to production planning and batch control guidelines for bakery products
  • Conduct quality and freshness checks
  • Attend relevant training as required, coach, mentor and train your team
