Job Description

Eastwise Group is a rapidly growing property development group of companies with an enviable track record in delivering high quality residential developments in and around Dublin. With a strong background in all aspects of residential development, construction, engineering and design, we have a number of significant projects in progress. With this in mind, we are looking to strengthen our in-house architecture and design capability and are actively seeking a Senior Project Architect to join our team.

As a senior member of the design team, the successful candidate will be expected to be involved in every stage of the design process. You will lead all aspects of the project design process, support and manage junior technical design staff, coordinate and manage external design consultants, as well as identifying novel and cost effective opportunities throughout the whole development process. An in-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, the planning process and associate design codes and industry best practice is a prerequisite of the roll.

You will be involved in an exciting range of high-end residential projects of significant scale and cross over with urban design and master planning. As a Senior Project Architect, you will gain great exposure on significant landmark projects and obtain invaluable experience with design freedom working alongside the Directors and other members of the development team.

This is a full time position and will be based in our office in Glasnevin, Dublin 9.

A lucrative salary and benefits package is on offer to the successful candidate.

  • The ideal candidate will be part III qualified, Registered Architect (RIAI, RIBA, ARB or equivalent) with a strong focus on large scale commercial, mixed use or residential architecture.
  • Ideally 7+ years' post qualification experience, where you have lead large scale and high value residential projects at construction stage.
  • Able to demonstrate project design and contract administration experience.
  • Possess excellent communication and management skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent design skill, utilising Autocad and Revit.
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate working knowledge of relevant 3D design software packages e.g. sketch up or 3D Max.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience leading a multidisciplinary design team and involvement in all aspects of the design process.
  • Experience in the assembly of planning and contractor design packages.
  • Direct experience with client management, urban design and or master planning is highly desirable.
  • Be able to work as part of a team in a fast moving and sometimes pressured environment.
